Spring Fever

       I know their are a lot of people out there, maybe you're one of them, that love springtime.  I love spring time too.  I am especialy looking forward to this spring since last fall my hubby and I planted like a million tulip bulbs.  In reality, it was only about a hundred, but working in the hard, wet, clay soil that is Utah, it felt like a million.  However, I have to say that I have been robbed of a proper Utah winter this year.  Here it is Valentines Day and we haven't had enough snow to build our sled run.  The weather report is calling for more snow and cold weather later in the week, but I don't know that I trust them.  I want a few big snow storms so I can turn on my fireplace, open the curtains and watch the puffy little white flakes fall to the ground.  Having come from California, snow is still a magical event in my eyes. I love to step out on our deck during a snow storm and listen to how quiet it can get.  I love to hear the wind blow as a strong storm makes the little flakes fly in every direction.  I love to see the ground all sparkly and white the the next morning and the snow clinging to the branches of my still small pine trees.  I do love spring, but I love winter too, in all of its snowy, white glory.  How about you?  What is your favorite season, and why?
