Happy Memorial Day

     Happy Memorial Day everyone. I know you're grateful for the day off and a chance to gather with friends and family. The bar-be-que is waiting and good times are to be had by all, but while you are preparing to live it up, lets take a minute to remember that there are those who aren't here with us today because of the sacrifice they have made. Our way of life was paid for with blood, sweat and sacrifice.
     As the centuries have passed you would think that we could find a better way to settle our differences than to make war on each other, but it doesn't seem like we're making any progress in that noble goal.
     So remember those long gone, say a prayer for them and those they left behind. And to the men and women who have paid the ultimate price I say, "You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith." Rest in peace.
